| As a Lutheran congregation our worship of God the Father is centered in our
recognition of Jesus Christ as His Son and the reality of the Holy Spirit to lead and
guide us. We believe that when we gather for
worship God in Christ is present with us in the power of the Gospel in reading from the
Bible, in the message preached by the pastor based on scripture, and in the presence of
Christ in the Sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion.
We offer Holy Communion at all our regular Sunday worship services. We invite any Christian who believes in Christ to
receive bread and wine as the Body and Blood of Christ. |

| We are liturgical in our planning for worship.
This means that we recognize and use aspects of worship planning that have
been part of the Christian tradition for centuries. We
also incorporate contemporary music and activities within our liturgical tradition as
expressions of our living in a modern ways as the people of God. We hope that no matter the particular choices of
music and liturgy or variety therein, that every service is an opportunity to join other
believers in praise, prayer and thanksgiving for the gift of grace in Jesus Christ, and in
the challenge of Christian living in the modern era.
Worship is not a private experience, but by definition an activity we do
together. The reality of God is always bigger
and more mysterious than any one persons experience or concept. Together we stand in awe and humility, to receive
the gifts of God, and find purpose in living. Join
with us and explore the mystery and beauty of Gods love for us and our response to
Gods love as we worship. |
